The Kenai was created and built after running (almost literally) with a black bear while mountain biking in Washington State in 2011. Since then, the Kenai has been the way to go for outdoor enthusiasts around the world. It is also used by selected military and law enforcement units to be carried while on equestrian patrols.

Backcountry Chest Holster

The Kenai was designed with all-day comfort in mind and brings the largest .50 caliber revolver and semi-automatic in extreme comfort. The harness uses wide, flat webbing and the buckle is positioned against the front or your body so there is no interference with the straps. It's also elastic with a heavy-duty double layer stitched in key places, so it expands and contracts as you breathe. Because walking under your backpack, if you drop your backpack or other gear, your arms will always be in your hands.

Kenai gives you the confidence you need in those situations when the seconds count. Kenai uses integral retention to allow the gun to penetrate. If you need it, no snaps, laces, zippers or snaps, just grab and pull. Draw time is as quick as a belt-worn field holster. Every holster that comes out of our facility has a retention set with the actual gun so we are 100% sure it will be there when you need it.

The Kenai is built entirely in the USA from US materials and hardware and will last a lifetime of the harshest conditions. Like everything we make, the Kenai has no threaded fasteners, it's completely glued so nothing will come loose and fall out. The Glock 41 .45acp also fits in this holster. This holster fits guns with or without Micro Red Dot. Not compatible with other Glock models.

My favorite case for the A Glock 21 when riding through the woods in my 650 Suzuki or scrambling in the woods, excellent retention and harness fit and design. I was able to put a good kit on it and yes it can work with many Bino rigs. Impeccable quality and safety for that Glock trigger!

I have worn my KENAI hiking in the mountains, and to the range several times. I like it. Once adjusted to my size, 6'3" and 300 lbs. Very comfortable, and secure.

Last fall I bought my KNAI for my Glock 20. Instead of hunting deer. I am having a Knee Replacement. I hung my scabbard on a peg next to my gun chest. This spring I finally put on my Kenai Holster. Very comfortable. I'm 74 years old, not too much hunting season left, but I'm back hiking. I'll be ready long before hunting season.

I really like this setup. Convenient, good storage, and good looks too. Fits my glock 20 10mm perfectly. No complaints and definitely worth the money. Will buy and buy again.

I knew I was going to love this holster so I had to have 2. One for my G20 and one for my G19x. These things are very close together, and I mean very close together. I haven't hiked or hunted with it, but the fit alone makes me happy with this purchase.

The G20 fits like a glove, the G40 w/ Burris FastFire2 and Dawson suppressor height sights (0.4 something tall") cleans well. Maintenance?
