Last fall I bought my KNAI for my Glock 20. Instead of Hunting Pictures. I had a knee replacement. I hung my holster on a peg next to my gun chest. This year I finally put my Kenai Holster on. Damn comfortable. I'm 74 years old, not many hunting seasons left, but I'm getting back into hiking. I will be ready long before hunting season.

I knew I would love this gun, so much so that I had to have 2. One for my G20 and one for my G19x. These things hold up really hard, and I mean really hard. I haven't hiked or hunted with it, but the fit alone makes me happy at this price.
I just found it and ran to the Man Cave... Thin Kydex, as it should be. The stitching and rivets are beautifully done with attention to detail. The G20 fits like a glove, the G40 with the Burris FastFire2 and Dawson suppressor height sights (the front is .4 io height") is pretty clear. Storage? Adjusting the scope is easy, you have to play around a bit to find the position. what a treat.This item is great.Good price...made in the USA,Highly recommended!!!!

If you spend some time in the mountains, you will probably be carrying a backpack. And if you spend some time in the mountains... you might want to carry a weapon for personal protection.
Growing up in parts of NE Washington and Northern Idaho, carrying a gun while roaming the backcountry is common practice and you don't think much of it. I remember the days of rocking a Jansport, with a 1911 auto, or a .44 Magnum strapped to my hip. But as my travels and choices continued, I found that there had to be a better solution for carrying a handgun while carrying a bag. Any backpack worth its salt will have a waist belt, which makes it a hassle to carry that pig's leg comfortably. Anyone who has ever tried to carry a traditional belt bag under their belt, and walked a long distance; will believe that there must be a better way.
I tried every reasonable method of carrying; including both thigh braces, and strapping the gun to my pack. Each has its pros and cons...my experience marks them as dupes. The first time I used a thigh holster to carry my Glock 20, I quickly found the outside of my thigh wearing green from a loose holster and slipping after miles. a lot on the way. Walking in deep snow was also a problem, as I often found my gun and holster full of the white stuff. I tried many different types and configurations of thigh holsters before checking them off the "no go" list.
